THE EDIT: Molong House

Molong House by CM Studio lives in the Sydney coastal enclave of Curl Curl, a south-facing headland site. This property offered opportunity and challenge in creating a casual resort feel, while capturing northerly sun and opposing views of Manly and the city.  

Central to the brief was to create a separation of spaces from public to private. The open-plan living areas were thoughtfully styled by Claire to complement the seamless flow, letting the breathtaking landscape take centre stage. Claire embraced a neutral, minimal palette to highlight the beauty of the architecture and its natural surroundings.

Upon entering through a tropical garden and grand timber door, the home's crisp white walls and timber ceilings highlight the sculptural staircase, setting a serene tone. Claire's styling brings warmth and sophistication to the space, with natural textures, allowing for that resort-like atmosphere.
